The National Quality Framework provides a national approach to regulation, assessment and quality improvement for early childhood education and care services across Australia.
Through research, and at Golden Seeds, we strongly believe that quality education and care in early life leads to better health, education, and employment in later years of life. The early years are critical for establishing self-esteem, resilience, healthy growth, and capacity to learn. Quality education and care shapes every child’s future and lays the foundation for development and learning, and we all know “it all starts with a seed” (Bryan. E Wright)
National Quality Framework (NQF)
Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
The Framework ‘s vision is for all children to experience play-based learning that is engaging and builds success for life.
It is a guide for early childhood educators who work with children from birth to five years. They will use the Framework in partnership with families, children’s first and most influential educators, to develop learning programs responsive to children’s ideas, interests, strengths, and abilities, and recognise that children learn through their play.
The Early Years Learning Framework describes childhood as a time of belonging, being and becoming, as well as describing 5 main learning outcomes:
- Children have a strong sense of identity
- Children are connected with and contribute to their world
- Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
- Children are confident and involved learners
- Children are effective communicators.
OWNA
OWNA is our online documentation platform that can be accessed at any time via your own app portal available on any app approved tablet or smart phone device.
On OWNA you can access your child’s daily, weekly and monthly learning write ups from your child’s educator (both individual and group observations of development and learning stories). OWNA allows you to view nap/rest times, nappy changes, and meals, as well as photos of your child’s learning throughout their day, at any time.
When you enrol your child with Golden Seeds, you will automatically receive log-in details which will give you access to OWNA, for not only your child’s learning, but also CCS calculators, accounts, fees etc.
